Hi and welcome at Saga Stables,

 

My name is Menny, proud owner of Saga Stables.

I grew up as a little girl surrounded by horses and foals were bred at our house in the past. I competed in many dressage competitions until I was a young adult.

At that time I had been inspired for a long time by a breeder of miniature horses from the breed Falabella and AMHA. One day I made an appointment with this breeder and was invited to visit their stable.

From that day on, I immediately fell in love with these adorable little horses and decided to buy four. This later grew into my own breeding farm with 20 miniature horses.

Years later, due to circumstances, we unfortunately had to sell our entire herd.

In 2022/2023, my husband and I decided to move to beautiful Sweden.

We bought a farm with a lot of land in Sweden. My dream was to start a small breeding farm there again, with beautiful miniature horses grazing in the pastures around our house.

Then I accidentally met a Dutch breeder in Sweden of miniature horses and I fell in love with her miniature horses. They didn't have normal smooth coats, but they have beautiful curly coats. So cute and sweet. I bought my first two colt foals to start my new Curly adventure. I decided I wanted to incorporate the luxury of the AMHA miniature horse into my breeding, so combined with AMHA mares, hopefully we'll have beautiful grazing curly foals in our fields in the future.
